Upon arrival at Phuket International Airport, all travelers are required by law to appear in their national ID card holder (usually their passport) and submit a translation of their passport, including any photos if applicable. The immigration procedures at Phuket International Airport can be very confusing. You may need to undergo several security checks upon arrival, and it is advisable to bring extra copies of your passport and relevant information for the immigration officer. Immigration officers do not give too much time to discuss things, especially to foreigners. Make sure you understand what to expect, and arrive prepared.
